Montville Public Schools

The Montville Public School system consists of three elementary schools, one middle school, one public high school and an alternative high school program. Montville Adult Education also falls under the auspices of the district. The district is run by an elected Board of Education with a full-time superintendent of schools overseeing day-to-day administration of the district.

Superintendent of Schools

The Superintendent of the Montville Public Schools is Laurie Pallin. Ms. Pallin oversees all facets of the day-to-day management of the Montville Public Schools including, but not limited to:  faculty and staff; building maintenance and management; annual budgets; curriculum development; district goals; and, testing. Ms. Pallin is supported in this role by Assistant Superintendent Dianne Vumback and Director of Special Services Paula LaChance.

Montville Board of Education

The Montville Board of Education is truly committed to everyone involved in the school district--students, teachers, administrators, staff and parents. A major goal of the Board is to continue to highlight and celebrate the successes of individuals within our district. All of our schools have been accredited through the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC). We are one of only eight school districts in Connecticut who have had all of their schools go through this process. Members of the public are encouraged to attend Board of Education meetings which are held on the third Tuesday of each month at 6:00 p.m. in the Montville High School library.

The Montville Education Foundation, Inc. (MEF) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to enriching, enhancing, and supporting education for the Montville community. For more information, click on the logo below.
